Storeperson (Afternoon)

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Storeperson to join a busy steel distribution site in Kewdale. This is a hands-on role working with overhead cranes and steel products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities



Operate overhead cranes (magnetic and sling attachments) to move, stack, and position steel products



Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently



Pick and prepare orders using manual pick slips (primarily afternoon shift focus)



Stage products in designated areas for dispatch



Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock movement and organisation



Conduct stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy



Operate forklift (if licensed – desirable, not essential)



Undertake training to operate band saw equipment to cut timber supports (gluts)

About You



Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute



Reliable and committed to ongoing work



Safety-focused with good attention to detail



Physically fit and capable of manual work in a warehouse environment



Able to work effectively in a team and follow instructions

Highly regarded:



Overhead crane experience



Experience working with steel or similar materials



LF Forklift Licence

Shift Details (Afternoon Shift)



Monday to Thursday: 1:54 PM – 10:00 PM



Friday: 12:54 PM – 9:00 PM
